About

Our second year saw a huge increase in the number and quality of films, as we started accepting international films of any genre. Despite the international reach, our Best of Fest and Best Sci-Fi/Horror went to the brilliant war-horror “Sleep Now In The Fire” by the Texas-based Pollaro brothers. “Special Delivery” from the UK won Best Comedy with its impeccable combination of writing, performance, and British accents. The young soldiers of “Wunderland” took Best Action-Adventure, while “Smile” won everyone’s hearts and Best Drama with its layered story of a sacrificial mime. Runners-up in each respective category were “Chicken Skin”, “Expiration Date”, “Caballero”, and “Einstein's Dance”. Note: several films were shown out-of-competition at the Gallery Main Street and are not listed here.
